Unhappy My first bump!

Hi all,

It's been a while since i've posted anything, but i would like all ur advice on something.

I've had a bump in my baby this mornin on a dual carraigeway(sp?). Went into the back of a ford focus, i was quite happily drivin at about 60 on my way to work, when every one slammed on their brakes i tried but was the only one who couldn't stop in time. The focus was worse of than my MINI as his back was pushed in slightly and his rear right hand panel was...well...sh*gged. my MINI will def. need a new bonnet and bumper but i could live with the damaged bumper for a bit as its not to bad.

What i was wonderin is how much is the mini one bonnet? I'm asking cus its too early for me to ring the dealers and i've jus got in from the bump.

Is it gonna cost me a lot? (the bumper i mean?) I'm a student and this is my first bump, and i'm more gutted by the fact that i've been workin all summer in a crappy factory job to pay my insurance and its all gone down the drain

Sorry rant over. Any help is much appreciated

Rik

You might as well just get it all fixed using your insurance, afterall the Ford Focus is going to get fixed using your insurance isn't it? If your insurance is up the spout anyway then just get it fixed. That way if there are any other problems inside the shell that you haven't seen then they get fixed too. Other than that I'm not sure of cost of parts like the bonnet. But if the aero kit sills cost £150 a pop unpainted then you can start to work out the cost....as not being too cheap, still maybe get a quote first before making up your mind.

Accidents do happen and making a derogatory statement like that without knowing the specifics is not a very fair thing to do.
