Offline | Just saw the same one today that I saw the other day - black/black JCW MCS with tints and aftermarket alloys, driven by a very attractive GIRL!! Now that's what we like to see! Not being sexist at all, but I did expect it to be a guy ![]() Yay Well funky.Last edited by MarkW19 : Sep 5th, 2003 at 07:57 PM. |

Offline | Would work if it was true what some people think about the MINI only being a "young people's car". But, I don't exactly fancy the "older" MINI drivers (an old Grandma was tailgaiting my Cooper in an S the other day with a scowl on her face!!) participating in it! Or maybe we should just all spec dark tints and get naked in our MINIs??? Now that would be a MINI adventure! |

Offline | LOL........ ![]() Fair comment. ![]() It's amazing though how the Mini has crossed generations. Everyone one loves the car, young and old. I bet BMW can't believe their luck. ![]() Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | Yep! I always find it interesting how it finds it's way into "prestige" and "performance" car websites, for Mercs, BMWs, Porsches and stuff, and then there's the MINI there too. What other "small" car could ever wish to be put up against cars like that?? It's a very special car. Sting has one, Madonna has one, this guy my work did a studio install for (worth millions of pounds) has one parked at the side of his 7 cars (not joking - porsches, aston martins, ferraris), the old lady next door has a one, my cousin who's just passed his test (17) has one...good selection of male/female too, it's a car that's so funky and stylish, but yet can't possibly be "stereotyped". How the hell have they done it??? ![]() |
