Hello all! I'm a new Mini owner here in Dallas, TX, USA, and I just found this site earlier today. I'm going to be taking a vacation to England from 16 Sept to 2 Oct, and I would like to take a tour at the Mini factory in Oxford. I'll have a railpass, so getting to Oxford won't be a problem. What I don't know is if they offer tours of the facility. If they do, what does it cost? How long does it last? Who do I have to contact to facilitate the process? Thanks for any help you can give. Hi there, there are several other threads on this subject.
In brief, the tour is FREE, lasts about 2 hours, you get to see almost everything except the inside of the paintshop (cos its a clean room), and there is merchandise for sale. A charity donation can be made if you widh to WHIZZKIDS which is the adopted charity of MINI in the UK.
