Offline | Newbie order questions -- Perhaps this falls under FAQ category, but couldn't readily find it.. I just ordered DS/DS MINI S this weekend; the dealer is providing for a Sept. build slot w/ Oct. delivery. Questions are as follows: 1) I'm told this will be a 2004 model; please confirm 2) Assuming 2004 model, will all the 2004 updates be in the car at time of delivery? (tach speed readout, rear fog, etc?) 3) What is the approximate lead-time from build start to arrival at dealer? Thanks in advance! |

| MINI2 Regular | Yes it will be an 04 No it wont have everything, the steering wheel doesnt get implemented till december (and even then it isnt MFSW) and the rear fogs are dealer options till december I think as well. Depends on where you are. If your on the east coast it's about 2 months, if your on the west coast it could be up to a year. I'm in FL so I ordered about a month ago and I suspect it will be here say mid october since it's on the build line now. Go read the 2004 Model Year thread, it has all the info. http://www.mini2.com/gallery/persona...CS/sig3txt.jpg The second 2004 MINI with a stress cracked windshield, missed #1 by a few days! | MINI2 Regular | Here it is. I think it's going on 30 pages, but it has everything you'll wana know, that or you can go to the dealer, or you could call 866 askmini (as I'm sure you will anyways), or you could just forget about it (good idea) and wait. http://www.mini2.com/gallery/persona...CS/sig3txt.jpg The second 2004 MINI with a stress cracked windshield, missed #1 by a few days! Offline | production dates represent the approximate date your MINI will be FINISHED in production. From that time it takes approximately 4-10 weeks to get it to the states (4-east coast 10 west coast) tho this can be delayed for any number of reasons. |
