![]() MINI2 Regular | Hi Juno - It may be an "'04 Spec", but I will bet that it is a 2003 Model if you live in the States. My MCS was finished on 15AUG and is a 2003. -Ed See profile for MAX MINI details. Support MINI2.com! |

Offline | One way to tell whether your car is a 2003 or a 2004 is to ask your dealer for your VIN. If the 10th digit is a 3, then it is a 2003, and if the 10th digit is a 4, then it is a 2004. |

Offline | Many Thanks KP - I'll be speaking with the dealer this morning so I'll ask for the VIN to confirm & thanks for your input too edm81363 - You know ... the world is a bigger place than America ... I have the advantage of being less than 150 miles from the factory Juno |

![]() MINI2 Regular | Yup - I've travelled this grand planet a bunch. That's why you might have noticed "if you live in the States", as I realize that the world does NOT revolve around America. So, do you have a 2004 MINI? The Owners Lounge should have a VIN for you... -Ed in Seattle See profile for MAX MINI details. Support MINI2.com! |

Offline | Caught yourself in the 'world revolves around america trap' ![]() The owners lounge you refer to is part of MINIUSA Other area have different features, some don't even have owner's lounges (so I've been told). |

Offline | Quick reminder, for most people, the little flag at the bottom left of their post shows where they're from, if they filled in the country. Of course Juno could just have filled out this info now, but its useful. Anyway, best of Luck Juno, I'm sure your car is an '04, besides if the dealer said it is, and it isn't, its their fault! With your '04 you have all the world waiting for your pictures now as one of the first delivered ![]() Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | Hey Peace guys I should maybe use more smilies to make it clear this stuff is all written in a light-hearted frame of mind ? The stealership could only give me the last 7 digits of the vin (i.e. the production number) - will find out for sure tomorrow I guess Camera batteries are a-chargin' ![]() Juno |

Offline | Thanks Guys - 'tis an '04 The computer is there as part of the revised chili pack + car is fitted with the perforated leather steering wheel. I couldn't confirm the computer functions, but the doors certainly re-locked after being left unlocked for a couple of minutes (mixed opinions about this feature, I know). By the way, I chose the anthracite interior after reading some of the feedback here. I've tweeked the photo sizes, levels & sharpness - hope they are clear for ya's - Roll on Friday ![]() Juno Last edited by Juno : Sep 10th, 2003 at 10:32 PM. |

Offline | I've done a few miles this evening - no more photos yet : too busy driving ![]() I like the speed readout on the computer - of all the available computer functions its the one I prefer to leave active. Had to RTFM to activate the interior lighting, but otherwise its all good ![]() ![]() Juno |

Offline | That's just because boring cars have the speed readout in front of you, you'll get used to looking over for it. Once you finish having so much fun all you want to do is drive. Oh wait, that will never happen! When you do get a chance, see if you can get some pictures of the seatbacks to see if they changed... Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |
