The limit was said to be 200 bhp with orginal brakes and gearbox. No mod necessary ?

no mine was the quickest LMB said his was as quick as the bat car,mines quicker than the bat bike.so bat bike must be quicker than bat car so mines quickest.......
that car was at jcw when i picked mine up.wasnt over keen on the mini me pics on wing mirror caps and in enigine bay !!. guy at jcw said it cost £35.0000

Each to thier own but I really can't see the point. A £42k mini and 3 cossies and then going in the paper and saying look at me I have more money than sense.

One of the attractions of the mini is the relative value for money. I'm sure you could get much better luxury/performance for the same money elsewhere so unless the appeal is to have the most expensive mini..... but someone will always spend more so you are probably onto a looser with that one.

I can see the point - I feel a lot better about spending only 23k on mine!

Did everyone also read the section (same edition) about what owners said they didn't like about their cars?
Apparantly the MINI sunblinds are useless as they are made of material that lets the light in? Mine dosen't let the light in?
Does anyone elses?

Slightly off topic - but my driver's sun visor always knocks the mirror askew and the left hand hinge is loose. The latter's no prob. of course, but to keep out the sun it's got to collide with the mirror. It's the curvature of the body, somehow.
