Offline | I saw a 2004 model Hi All, Spent most of the afternoon at the dealers (my favourite place) today with my mum's S waiting for the 1st oil service and some electrical fixes to be done. Saw a 2004 model top of the range Cooper S. The plastic on the back of the seats has been changed to a much much stronger one which doesn't scratch which is great news!! Just thought I'd share that! Offline | Yep all models! There's no official information to say the plastic has been changed but all the 2004's are coming with it. I was concerned about the plastic when i ordered my cooper a few months ago as my mum has the original plastic on her mini but as it's coming later on in the year it will be a 2004 spec with the new rear seat covers. To retro-fit the new covers onto a current car is Ģ100 inc VAT and labour at my dealer. Aiden... how are you becoming famous? If so please remember the lil people... e.g me ![]() Jas '06' Cooper S Convertible - Astro Black, '04' Mazda RX8 231 - Black |

Offline | Does the plastic look less cheap?? I'm glad I don't see it much or I'd think it let the interior of the car down ![]() I do like the fact that MINI are offering new features at suitable..dare I say "cheap" prices as retro-fits too. Shows they care about the customers Well, a bit anyway! ![]() |

Offline | lol true! Slightly off-thread, anyone know if a retrofit of the auto air-con is possible? Already have manual air-con - would they "take" back my manual air-con for a p-ex?? hehe. How much? |

Offline | The plastic looks much much better It looks like they've also changed the plastic on the door panels. I'll take a picture later when I go back there.Jas '06' Cooper S Convertible - Astro Black, '04' Mazda RX8 231 - Black |
