Offline | Just wondering guys, thinking about getting some new numberplates for my Cooper done (IB/B). They're in the "shadow" effect, dark grey/black, and have "GB" at the left hand side in gold, in a blue box, with a ring of gold stars around the GB. The blue ties in well with my Indi Blue, so think it may be a good mod? Just don't know if it cheapens the car, makes it more.."boy racer" like Or does it just add to the character/personalisation of the car, to make it even more individual?!?Can't make up my mind! Offline | "3D" style would be better actually I meant that, not shadow!http://www.signam.co.uk/Plate.Components.asp The blue at the left hand side on the ones I were shown had "GB" in gold, in the middle, with the gold stars around it, ie. not above/below. |

Offline | interceptor: do you mean the type "looked" carbon fibre or the actual plate had the carbon fibre pattern on it?? They must be legal! Some people even have "script" and stuff as a font in CAPS that you so can't read!! Mind you, I guess they wouldn't be as our friends the gatzos would have a hard time deciphering them ![]() The ones on that site though are all the exact legal standard for size/font etc., it's just the style of the type. Carbon fibre type or 3D....hmmm..., |

Offline | I'm spending so much money on my Cooper!!! Done so far (barely 2 months old):- Magnex cat-back exhaust K & N panel filer (R.I.P. as of yesterday!) K & N Typhoon (silver) Chrome & leather handbrake grip S Side-skirts (fitted from new at dealers before pick-up) To do in coming couple of months (in order!)... Small arial Numberplates (possibly!) Toyo TS-1 tyres (205/40/17) to replace runflats Eibach lowering springs Madness rear-sway bar (anyone know where to get one in the UK??) Eibachs: Wanna get rid of the rake (back slightly higher than front) and with the Toyo's being a bit lower profile than the runflats (205/45/17), to close the gap in the wheelarch a bit more, also to sit lower to the ground 'cos it's quite high for a MINI! Improve handling of course too. |

Offline | Now, aren't these stunning!!:- http://www.gtgrafix.com/domed_plates...med-plates.htm Thinking of getting them with black border, "www.mini2.com" at the bottom (as slogan), and the standard stars/GB badge (blue box) at LHS, but in white type rather than yellow. What's anyone think?? |

Offline | OK, decided. Carbon fibre/domed, no badge, black border, and hopefully (if they can do it) small black MINI wings logo and "MINI2.com" as slogan at the bottom in the middle. If not, just "www.MINI2.com". That would look the d*gs! Anyone agree?!? |
