Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but there's a book in M & S (exclusive to them), entitled "The Mini - the making of a modern icon", by Brian Laban. Published very recently, available for £8, it's a complete history of the csr from it'd '59 origins through to the new Mini. Seems a dam fine read to me. Some great pics in it, including one of a vicar checking out Christine Keeler climbing into a Mini in the early 60's (tax disc stamped Oct '63 in case you're interested) - pp65
