Sunroof "modification" Question

I have a problem with how I don't like how my sunroof in my MINI does not completely cover you from the sun, the mesh just isn't enough. Does MINI or anyone make a sunroof cover that I can slip in between the glass and mesh as a modification? And if so can you lead me to them.

And does anyone else have this problem??

Why not try a roof sticker? That will cut sun penetration significantly, and personalize your car.

I think the mesh blind is rubbish - especially as it stretches and looksbaggy afte a while

A simple thing i used for doing what you want.. went to Walmart (doesnt everyone) bought a piece of black posterboard cut to fit. this way i can have the sunroof. partial blockage from the screen or whole blockage by inserting the posterboard.

Be safe, Have fun and Keep MOTORV8N

Do you mean Black FOAM posterbord? Or just the more flimsy like paper posterboard? You know what I'm talking about...

No no no no... I dont think you are suppose to tint the sunroof... Because of the heat the film and the glass expands at different rate it can crack the sunroof.

Another question about the posterboard. Is it supposed to be placed above the mesh? (between that and the glass) Or below the mesh, where it can be touched?
