Smile just picked up my new cooper

half an hour ago.got the 2004 spec for nowt.the dealer said that the pepper package (the one i got) is going up to around £900 next year (i paid £320) .i looks like i bought at the right time then.leather steering wheel, trip computer as well.only drove it 2 miles and its everything i want in a car.the missus will go mad though cos i said there's plenty of room in the boot for the weekly shopping(there would be for david blaine )anyways who's paying for the ****er?.i'll update shortly on how its going.you usually know within a couple of weeks wether you've got a dud or not. but at the minute i feel like a dog with 2 d*cks .....lee

Congrats Lee
I take it to mean a dog with two d**ks is a very happy dog?????????????

I think the pepper pack is going to be made available for the Mini One, this ofcourse is going to be more expensive becuase it includes alot of stuff that one's don't get as standard.
The mini cooper pepper pack is unlikely to rise much, if at all

Pepper pack on the ONE includes 8 spoke alloys and S steering wheel as well as everything you get with SALT for £700. Didn't know there was a change coming up on the Pepper pack for the Cooper.

Not problem fitting the weekly shop in the boot for me

well,i've had the car 2 full days now.i don't think i've ever driven so much in my life.its everything i thought it was going to be.its SO hard trying to keep below the 4500 revs though.the car is just so much more fun to drive than my last one (3 series beamer). i've caught a few people looking at it as well outside shops.one thing i did notice last night on the motorway going to blackpool is that when you overtake someone some of them try to catch you up.i don't know wether that is to get a better look or the fact that they don't like being overtaken by such a small car . the only minus point up to now has been something i've noticed if your first at the lights and you've only got one set of lights to look at (ones by your car) you have to strain your neck so you can see them change.its only the angle of the front window i suppose.i do love this car though..........lee

p.s. what is the best stuff for cleaning the chrome and plastic bits of the car, inside and out.....anyone?

There is I belive a small platic tranparet sticker that somehow manages to show you the lights, I have not got it but read about it on here you could do a search.

expealadocious, even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious.

Congrats Lee, had my new Cooper for 24 days now, loving every minute of it. Up to 1500 miles now so can finally get over 4,500 revs at last- wow! Watch out for the sore neck from the G's going round roundabouts!
