It's not happened too me for quite a while but your not the only ones.

Bit of a ****er that they let the tyres down, you're probably lucky that they didn't nick the valves as-well, they didn't did they .

Mine's the one on the left.

Bout £10 I think. But worth it, because the bar stewards won't be able to let them down easily without sticking a hole in your tyres...

Think i'd sooner me dust caps nicked because the're only going to do something else to your car to make up for not getting them, black plastic ones for me

Mine went within 24 hours - nicked when the car was parked in a church car park in Kendal.
I now have silver locking ones from Halfords.

In Italy

Thanks all....

I read the big thread, went to my dealer and got 4 new ones for £1.36 (cheaper than the black plastic ones in halfords!) and bought myself some mini pliers (not mini-branded pliers! Just little ones!lol) and tightened them up. Hopefully that will do the trick. Luckily the tyres were fine. Thank flip for run-flats! My warning thingy didn't work though. I'd assumed it was initialised from when I collected it from the dealer, but it must not have been. So I've done it now. If it happens again, hopefully it will work!

A couple of people did mention they thought that if they couldn't get them off they might vandalise the car another way but...well...I am just hoping that doesn't happen!

Mine wasn't the only car they did that night. They also did my boyf's front passenger side tyre (Focus) and his housemate's 306 too, but just nicked the caps.

Time to buy a house in a nicer area!

Normally this sort of incident is down to "BMX Bandits" (Kids) and you'll get them where ever you move too , no matter how posh! it is, kids will be kids .
