Just metal caps here too but I guess they are sufficiently cooler than black plastic ones that people feel the need to steal them...

I had the ones on my BMW knicked constantly until one morning I loaded up the car - they were there - next I go to the car to drive away and they've gone! Looking further down the street I see the little ba$tard paper-boy from next door attaching them to his BMX.

He didn't do it again. Arse. Grrrrrrr

(Which reminds me, I must remember to tighten them up on my MCS with pliers! Seriously. They'll never budge 'em! )

Thats a good idea... but will that put more wear and tear on the threads since we do need to occasionally check the tire pressure. Or are u guys relying only on the Tire pressure monitor?

I had red ones on my car for around a year until last month when I had the crash and while the car was laid up out side of my house some lowlife has pinched them

I'm hoping that replying "no" on this poll won't mean they are stolen off my car this very afternoon. Gotta hate that karma thing...

I'd only had mine a couple days and some toe rag nicked 'em.
Never even had change to see em up close.

I 'lost' one within a week despite making them as tight as I could by hand. Bought four new ones from the dealer last Saturday (so I've three spares) - 56p for the lot. Have a pair of pliers in the car now, so hopefully will never need to use any of the spares.

some little B@st@ard stole mine the other day, even phoned a car-park where it was just incase it happened there and they caught them.... no joy.... they stole 3!!!! 3! not 4 but 3!

I have invested in a nice set of ripspeed ones from Halfords... nice and chunky and look really nice... cost far too much tho *cries* FOR VALVE CAPS!!!! came with a cool keyring to tighten them....

I had 3 taken also, why not 4. $2.99 for replacements and while I was there a guy with a caddy was on his 3rd set.

I had the two rear ones stolen on Monday, which I replaced on Monday night after a quick trip to Halfords (£2.29 for 5 metal ones) But to make things worse all 4 were taken yesterday.

I bought ones with a littel Union Jack on them knowing that they would eventually be taken. Well Monday they were indeed taken. But the funny thing is the guy only got 3 of them - no idea what the hell he's going to do with three of them.
