Offline | reliability ive recently put my order in for a mc cr/w but the amount of problems i have read about in these fourums makes me wonder if i have done the right thing? there seems to be a lot of people needing new gearboxes, and many other problems! is reliability really so bad? i should take delivery of my car in jan 04 which gives me plenty of time to worry!!!! |

| Awwww %%%% it! | You tend to hear more of the bad news than good - it's human nature. I'm on my second MC and love it as much as my first - if not more, others here are on their second or third, others have now bought them for their partners, children etc .... so no, you've not made a mistake - you'll love every minute - Happy motoring ![]() |

Offline | I have 13,000 miles on my MCS, and while it has had a few niggling problems, and still has a few today, it has never failed to start, or left me stranded. In that sense, it continues to be perfectly reliable. |

| M5 Extraordinare! | Nope... its good... a few minor problems that u get in ANY new car. Ok besides the stumble... that might only be a MINI thing. but they SHOULD have a fix (LISTENING MINI NA?) and the only other problem i have is a slight rattle when bump up the bass on the HK stereo but like I said my Camry does that. hahaha but I'm going to fix that with dynamat soon. other than those two things I cant think of anything wrong wtih my MINI. |

Offline | Don't let this place worry ya, like someone said earlier those with problems tend to make the most noice, those with no problems are too busy out motoring to post that they have no problems ![]() |

Offline | I got my mc on Sept 1st and it has now done 1200 miles. It was fault free on delivery and has remained so. It's still the best purchase I've ever made. Maybe I was just lucky! Maybe I've just put the kiss of death on it now................ |

Offline | I'm thrilled with my July 03 Cooper/. I have the hiccup occasionally, but I know MINI will fix it and it's not a "deal killer" for me. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. The car is awsome! |
