I have attach a photo of the new 3 spoke steering wheel for the mini.(special thanks to bridge.us-mini for the picture).I was just woundring what other people think about it.Is it bad or good

I suspect since Gabe (who runs Bridger.us/mini) is a member, he probably got the picture from here as well, as he thanked Steve at MINI2 directly below the picture.

Definently don't like the buttons showing on the front of the wheel. I like how mine are hidden on the back of the wheel. I like the idea of three spokes, but glad mine came with the wheel it has since those buttons are showing.

even the 2 spoke wheel has some button on the front .... although much less playstation 2 like

What a relief. I was sure that the new 3 spoke wheel would make me lust after it. Now that I've seen it I think I'll keep my 2 spoke. For a decent airbag equipped 3 spoke wheel check out the 2nd generation Miata or new MR2. The "brick" is way too big on the new Mini wheel.

I think the buttons are in the wrong spot and are too small. Its kind of ugly and cheap looking. The designers went in the wrong direction on this one.

personally, i think those buttons would annoy the hell out of me - i bet they would be nasty if you drive in the quater to 3 position like i do

Are those buttons only for the MFSW? Maybe the wheels without MFSW don't have those cheap buttons.
