Offline | Forum death? Tell that to the guys at Miata.net. Started in the early '90s and still going strong. Some come, some go, discussions morph from new accessories to maintenance issues and wringing the last bit of performance. I don't spend as much time there as I used to, but it's still a great resource and thriving community. '04 IB/W #1,#2,#3, Nav w/Brit voice, HK, lapis leather, aux gauges, bonnet stripes, Ian's auto-up/GDO, full toggle rack I've motored cross-country, have you? |

![]() 6X therapist | Every now and then this thread comes back to life, seems about the right time to me I'd have thought with the latest new MINI coming along the threads would be ultra busy, but it seems quiet ............ Anyone else got an angle on how it seems to me ![]() |

Offline | I agree in as much as the general Mini threads go - 'Live Wire' seems a pretty silly name for something that barely moves faster than an OAP on prozac.... general discussions seem pretty slow..... Dare say the off topics are pretty busy, but not quite so interested in these. It does seem to have ground to a halt, but I'm sure Pauls Statistics will show its busier than ever.... which is always confusing.... although statistically statistics are always shown to be a load of rubbish... . Sure it'll bloom again when the new car hits the street....... EVO really do rate it as excellent in all aspects except the interior design - engine is supposedly superb. So, forum death...? maybe not, probably just a little hibernation before the 'new spring' awakens.... |

Offline | I agree it does seem quiet at the moment, I think as Tony suggests things will start picking up when the new model starts arriving at dealers. Might also have a bit to do with Paul not being online to add news & info on the new model . |

| without a... mini... | Although the internet has helped clubs to connect and be more of a community mini2 has a long way to go... The original mini changed many, many times and then owners put their own mark on them for 40+ years and going strong... There is no reason why BMW won't keep reinventing the new one just the same... Lets be honest they have quite a few special edition names to use yet... Red hot, LE, Grand Prix, 25th, 35th, Paul Smith, to name but a few... mini2 has life in it yet!!! |
