Yikes! I thought this was going to be some sort of weird OT & B thread - nothing so serious as much of what I've read here.

I have to say that generally speaking the majority of people on this site have been extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Yes, there have been the few odd times my newbie feminine feelings have been hurt but (can't believe I'm fessing up to this) but the great number of good hearted folks far and away out weigh the, shall we say, more ego centric ones.

You all have been extremely patient with all of my questions - and I've enjoyed some of the off topic threads as well.

As others have posted, any message board community goes through changes and cycles but the stalwart posters and moderators on here really know how to hold it together and keep the atmosphere positive, fun, helpful - and interesting. So thanks - long may MINI2.com live!

I have no problem with OT&B at all, I do post when I have the time but if anyone has a problem with it I'd just say that it's just a small part of MINI2 and we all contribute in many ways to the whole site

As for OT&B, I love it. I spend way too much time there and even tho I almost got 1000 post I still feel very much a "newbe" [I guess 1000 really isn't all that much]. I can't see why anyone would be put off by the place, it's just a bunch of people you don't know flapping the cake hole about everything. Some very funny, some very smart,some both and some neather, and you can't tell which is which by their post count. Who cares what someone with a million post thinks, new people should jump right in and say something. Oddly enough I'm very quite and shy in real life.
