I myself don't get much time to chat on the site, but do so as much as I can.

The feel/vibe from other MINI2'ers is fantastic, so I guess what I think of it is what other veteran users thought whne they first joined.

When I owned a 205 1.9gti a few years back, the internet wasn't around so the community was broken up and people met up very infrequently. But now it is easie to arrange meets, runs, talk about your problems. This is all good for fellow MINI2 users, and can only enhance the community spirit.

The people I talk to are friendly, polite, and welcoming, it feels very much like a slightly disfunctional family!

I think as more new drivers login /on, it will add a little bit on invigoration each time, as there is another persons view to add to the melting pot.

I guess it is for people who organise events, and future organisers too, to be a little different to keep things fresh, there will always be something new to talk about, good or bad. (I must commend the organisers on doing fantastic jobs!)

The meeting up at runs (Cotswold Run 2 was my first) is a great experience, you do feel a part of something cool. Again I got a family atmosphere feel, very good natured.

Long may mini2.com rule! Thank you all!

It took me ages to really get into OT&b and meeting people does sometimes help. Some people did seem to take a friendly "hello" as a come on.....trust me, that could not be further from the truth! That really saddened me to be honest, I just wanna have fun so just take me as I am.....a genuine girlie who loves the fun side of life!

Oh and yes, I am feeling a tad brassed off today

Wibbly its weird reading that early post now, as you do feel like you have been here for a while, and made some great contributions to the site, it goes to show newbies do just have to post away. End of the day we all started off as newbies at some point.

I still remember stumbling across certain threads, being a bit fearful, but finally taking the plunge, posting and people in there getting me more involved in the threads etc... I still remember the regs of the time that made this easier, took me under their wings etc.. You never forget your first friends you make on MINI2

A lot of flirting goes on in there and it's nearly all meant as harmless fun - and very little occurs in "real" life. That said if someone does come on to you just bounce them if it's unwanted attention - if they persist and you're uncomfortable then tell a mod please and we will address it with them.

As much as I as love chatting to the first friends, its always good to make new ones, and I love pretty much every moment on MINI2 at present as there as so many great new people on here too

... I've found that it doesn't take long to get into things. People are generally very cool and inclusive, even if you're butting into a thread where everyone knows each other well. I really have nothing but praise for M2 and all the good people I've got to know here. What fun there is to be had too
