Will I automatically get...

... a courtesy car when my MINI goes in for it's first service?

i'm not the legal owner but i drive it and i'm on the insurance (obv)... usually my mum drives it more than me but it's going in during my half term and i'm not insured on any of our other cars, so i won't be able to get around on my own. will they provide me one or will i have to pay through the nose for extra insurance (i'm 17). otherwise i have to go with my rents to take the car which is all a bit of a 'mare cuz the nearest dealer isn't particularly near...

would like to get a courtesy car anyone got any views?

Give the dealer a call - but usually on the first service they complete the work while you wait

It only take 45 mins, so make use of the free coffee (in fancy cups!!)

0ooooh ok i didn't realise it was that quick...

in fact, it might not be, cuz it also needs some warranty work doing (rattles, surprise surprise!) and i might have my driving lights fitted at the same time...

thanks for the reply, i will call them this weekend!

my service countdown was for 10k... it's going in in a couple of weeks, no courtesy car cuz it's only for a day and my dad's gonna take it.

Well TBH on all my services I've had warranty work, and on most of them I've had to insure the courtosy car myself. The place I'm getting new one from also fitted my Aero Spoiler, they provided me with a MINI One Courtosy car fully loaded (climate full leather 16's etc) and insured it for me!!!!!
