Offline | When were the new shocks introduced ? Does anyone know exactly when the new shocks were introduced to 'soften' the SS ride ? From other Mini2 posts I have seen dates of May 03 and July 03 quoted. I am trying to confirm is my July 03 S has the new shocks. I am not sure how else you can tell apart from driving an earlier Mini with SS. I did have May 02 Cooper with SS but it is difficult remembering the ride characteristics. Cheers. |

Offline | Ratty I got my MCS in July and it had the new shocks. At first I was a bit concerned, that it would affect the roadholding, but it seems to have just made the potholes more bearable. The cooper i had before was a much firmer ride. |
