Offline | dealer prep charges? My dealer is charging a $295 dealer prep charge (profit!) but selling at MSRP. Has anyone been able to negotiate this fee? Dealer says it's not negotiable, and even MA's who purchase through the dealership are charged this. |

Offline | It probably isn't negociable, unless you can get it cheaper at another dealer. When faced with lower prep or no sale, it may become negociable. Depends what you're willing to do. You may also try and get something free (Floor mats?) included which would make the $295 a bit less pure profit. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | I didn't have to pay any dealer prep charges when I bought mine in July. And I think that's pretty standard on the east coast Bill BRG/W MCS with UJ decal & white bonnet stripes |

Offline | DAV did you order it from Long Beach? I'm on the list there and I'm at the point were I sent my spec sheet in but have not odered yet. I got on the list last April. If you did get yours there how long were you on the list before you ordered and from the time you sent in your spec sheet to the day you ordered how long was it? Thanks Tavis1 ![]() |

Offline | Negative. I was told at least a 10-12 month wait for my MCS. I want to pay MSRP, but I am not THAT patient. Ended up ordering from Jacksonville FL Mini dealer for MSRP near my brothers house. Arriving this month. Ordered June 28th and got a production order the same day. I have heard the wait may have gotten shorter at Long Beach since then. |
