SSP different on Cooper S than on Cooper?

Apoligies if this has been covered before, but I am sure I remember reading that there was a new Sports Suspension plus fitted to the Cooper S. I was just wondering whether or not, the same Sports Suspension plus is fitted to the Cooper, or whether it is different?

It's my understanding that there is no difference between the suspension components on the cars. Sports Suspension Plus is the same if fitted on either car.

I think you can check the front antiroll bars by turning the wheels to full lock (it may make a difference L or R). Sports Suspension Plus is labeled "Cooper S" (Cooper or Cooper S with SS+, 24.0mm diameter), and Sports Suspension is labeled "Cooper" (SS, 22.5mm diameter).

Thanks for the replies. Did they modify the SSP as some point during later builds?

Yes. The dampers were softened slightly to improve the ride. There were huge threads about it a few months ago.
