I have a US Spec Mini here in the UK. I bought it in Germany. My GPS voice is either British, or French. When I go back to the States and change out my GPS CD, will the voice change? Or for the people already in the States what accent is your GPS voice?

If I remember correctly, the voice is stored in the units firmware (built in memory) the cd/dvd only contain the maps. At least, thats how it was on my peugeot 406. I could well be wrong.

I don't think my gps voice has an accent, so I'm assuming it's American..lol

That's too bad, the English lass definitely adds a nice flair to the car. The French voice is kind of entertaining too just to screw with people
