Hello all!
I just wanted to share my latest experience with Mini Spares. I ordered some parts from them (for my classic mini) via the ‘net on a Wednesday. The following Tuesday, I still hadn’t received the parts, so I called Mini Spares. I was told the parts were packaged on Friday, so probably hadn’t gone out until Monday! So much for the ‘net being the faster way… I checked my credit card, and sure enough, they billed me on Friday. So, I waited, and waited….. and waited. Still no parts. So, I called them again on the following Wednesday, now TWO WEEKS since I ordered my parts! I was then told there had been a mistake, and my parts were STILL SITTING IN THE SHOP! They were never shipped! I cancelled my order, and phoned Mini Sport. The NEXT DAY, my parts are on my door step!
My biggest disappointment is that I was hoping to get the parts in time to finish installing the engine my friend and I built, before he emigrated. Now theres no chance, as he’s left the country. Never mind that the warm mini-tinkering weekends are drawing to a close, slowly getting replaced by the lots-of-layers-and-coffee tinkering weekends.

Sorry to read about you experience Jon. I've used MINISpares in the past and they've been pretty reliable . I am not much of a Net Order person so called them Direct and spoke to Simon who usually posts on here.

Try calling him or let him know of the problems you encountered.

I've dealt with them via the net for my classic in the past and they were great, I would hope Simon will see this and take note of your problems for future at the very least.

I too have bought regularly from minispares without no problem.

I used to order from minispares quite a lot, but started ordering from minisport, because they had the particular parts I was after. I decided to give minispares some business again, and this happens... Very bummed out....
