Unhappy Is my car a freak??

i'm worried that my car is a freak! or rather, unique

don't ask me why i've never noticed this before, but the edging of my rev counter and speedo are diff colours... the rev is silver (light) and the speedo is dark silver (anthracite? sorry i don't know all the names!)

the rest of the trims, door handles etc are the dark colour. anyone else got any experience of this?

thanks in advance for any replies

The dash in my cooper is anthracite and the rev counter is silver , as far as i know this is standard , they don't do an anthracite rev counter.

I believe the rev counter trim is silver to match the other silver items on the steering column (silver stalks and airbag trim ring), whether you have anthracite or not.

But I agree an anthracite trim ring on the rev counter would look better.
