The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and International Tire Expo will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Tues-Fri., Nov. 4-7. Over 1300 companies, including 13 auto manufactuers will occupy 824,000 square feet of exhibit space. Although not open to the public it is one of the largest events held in Las Vegas.

At last years show I saw dozens of MINIs but very few primary MINI vendors. Who is going this year? Vendors, list your hall and booth number.

Attendees, let's set up a daily meet up at 1 pm at the entrance to the SEMA store in the Central Hall, try to wear a MINI cap or shirt for easier ID.

If you're bringing your car don't forget NASA has racing and open track driving at the speedway on the weekend, Nov.8-9.

Looking at this year's exhibitor list I didn't see Mini Mania or any other Mini aftermarket distributors. MM had their own booth last year and I saw others sharing booths.

I just found out that top Japanese car drifters will be appearing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, on Sat. 11/8 after SEMA. The So Cal drifters club is also putting on a clinic you can enter. Spectators will be allowed. Should be fun to watch but I'm not entering the MINI. http://www.club4ag.com/DriftDAY/default2.htm

Its Vegas! just charge both of them, and bring $100 cash. You can stop by the casino (I always especially liked the slots in places like KMart). You'll make way more then your plane ticket hotel cost.

Or lost $100 and have to pay the bill, but it'll be so much fun, you won't mind. It seems like a good theory at least.

Lots of aftermarket parts companies like Aquamist, Borla, H&R, K&H, K&N, etc. will be attending along with the tire and oil companies. I'm still disappointed not to see the MINI aftermarket distributors/outfitters participating.

You're correct, it is trade only. However, it is quite easy to register being a little creative and they don't seem to mind.

I'm going. Doing the last minute preparations today, then I'll leave in a rental car tomorrow morning. I'll be there for all four days, supporting our salespeople at the Katzkin Leather booth in North Hall. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have time to meet up during the day!

I'll look for your booth. It's going to be Fall weather next week, highs in the mid 60s, but at least the fire smoke has cleared out.

I found out that Mini Madness will have their car at the Stop Tech booth # 24013. Perhaps more importantly the Professional Bull Riders World Championships overlap with SEMA in Las Vegas at the end of the week! Hmmm, I wonder how much atttendance overlap there is- 100,000 expected at SEMA, 80,000 for the bulls.

ProMini / Supersprint NA / BMP design will be there in booth 23822 in the Central Hall. We will also have MINIs on display in both the Sachs/Mintex booth as well as BBS.

I saw the silver Turbo MCS at the BMP booth today, sharp car, can't wait to see how it performs. Also saw Mini Madness' blue MCS and several others. I plan to take pictures later in the week.
