Offline | White Italian Job Mini Hello All, I have been enjoying Mini2 forums for about a year now but this is my first post. I have always loved the classic Mini and fell in love with the MINI as well. In a couple of years I plan on buying one but right now I am enjoying my '73 Beetle. I have always loved the MINI in pepper white and wondered why it wasn't offered with a white roof. I come to realize later that it would probably look strange with two different whites then I saw the Italian Job remake and photos from the movie and WOW I think it has to be one of the best looking combos available! I was wondering if was just me or if anyone else thinks that combo really looks stunning? I might have to think about getting a pepper white MINI and getting the top sprayed. |

Offline | Thanks all of you for the welcome! I found the pictures on another mini2 thread acually named "what kits.....". I have seen pictures of pepper white MINIs with body color roofs but notice that the pictures of the Italian Job MINI is pepper white with a pure white roof which I think really sets off the pepper white nicely. If I were to pick an off-the-shelf color scheme it would definately be pepper white with the black roof, that scheme screams class! Thanks again, Erik |

| Gone Motoring! | not sure about The Itallian Job, but the BMW "The Hire" series of short films used cars (E39's modified to look like E39 M5's) with 2 steering wheels so the actor can be on the left hand side while the stunt driver would be on the right actually driving the car... (btw, click on the link on my sig for more PW/PW MCS pics! woho!) --Andrew |

Offline | I love the Pepper White, but I personally feel a different colored top needs to be a bit more of a contrasting color to look good. Then again, PW with a PW top would be sweet. Putting that aside, I have come to realize that I desperately need dual steering wheels. I hope that will be one of the "face lifts" available on the 2005 model. ![]() |
