Offline | Next Generation MINI in Auto Express Just picked up this weeks Auto express and they have some spy shots of the next generation MINI, Deeper sideskirts and redesigned front bumper too. Nothing too drastic thank god Also talk of the possibility of a 300BHP version, by John Cooper Works, to take on the supercar market. ![]() |

Offline | Agreed. But these pics looked more authentic than that, I think ... Only caught a quick read : Car is fitted with 18" wheels too - to sharpen tech readings from the improved suspension I think it said. + Roof spoiler tweek&test equipment. Juno |

Offline | The pics look fairly genuine, they are of a red/white Cooper S on a test track with a test rig on the back. It looks pretty much the same except for a redesigned bumper and poss deeper side skirts. Apparently they are looking at changing the suspension, as some people reckon the ride is too firm (no complaints from me on that front )![]() |

Offline | They've already softened the suspension, I have the new type and I dont like it as much as the old. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | That is not really a 'new' new MINI, it obviously has some changes on it, but not all, and certainly doesn't represent the changes that I know of. While on 18" wheels, that's also got the JCW exhaust, so it looks like they're testing out JCW mods, possibly the 270 etc. we've already heard about on here? The text is basically the same as their previous report, which seems to contain a lot of guess work. More guess work than this one: 17th October 2004: >MINI Range Due for Summer Shake-Up in 2004 >Continued.. ![]() So while that is a genuine MINI test shot, that's hardly the 'next generation MINI revealed'. ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house...
