Well, once BiMCOM is released you can update all of those setting from your laptop... So just bide your time until then.

Good point. I wonder when its coming out, they've been working on it for quite a while. Though since VAG Com is $199 including the adapter, you'd need to want to do a lot of fiddling to actually make it cost effective.

But it'd be cool anyway, so eh, who needs cost effective. and you could do so much else with it.

Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball.

I'm sorry to hear it obehave! Uglyness. Others are running into the same, rude, 5' 5" blonde-syndrome treatment?!
[Next time around, ask her how much for the "Special 1/2 hour Back-Alley MINI Fun" she usually performs, while they change your oil. ] j/k

We haven't even approached our nearest dealer for fear of running into the same discussed herein, which we saw in INDY where we bought our MINI. [We called it the GAP Store from Hell Treatment! ] Further, we already had fine, weasel-treatment from the MINI Sales Manager, "Mr. Dud" [not his real name] at a WI MINI dealer, losing our first MCS purchase; so, I'm nervous about their MINI Service Center.

Point: Few easily get over poor customer treatment, especially regarding an expensive purchase (1) & one with an emotional attachment (2).

I'm going to tell them I already paid MINI Service in INDY to install & program it, but, hmm, the programming didn't take?! Could you please do it once more? I'll offer to tip the service person $20. OK. $36. That's scooterboy's happy result & it's fair. What am I saying?! $1.80/minute is "fair?!" *But obehave's MINI Service Center needs to get smacked!

PS. Anyone throwin' in the diode once re-programmed, to resume the brake-light mod?

The real irony to the treatment of the service center is that the sales staff are just great

Nice one on the oil change

Yeah, I'll pay the $199 just to program the little-known "Passenger Eject" option.
