hi all! agent_spacemonkey here turning from being a lurker to an actual member.

i find this board very useful as i'm trying to scrimp, save, and earn every dime i've got to get my own cooper...*sigh* i've been wanting a cooper...or actually a mini since i was real young and i saw one in a uk show.

i love the new coopers and driving my family crazy with facts about my dream car...he,he,he...

i'm gonna have a birthday this month...and everyone is beginning to ask what i would want...he,he,he...guess what i told them.

it's driving me nuts with the indi blue being taken out...'cause it's my fav. color next to the red! i wanted to get indi blue, moonroof, cvt, xenon lights, white roof, bonnet stripes, that rear parking thing ('cause i really need it), and a black interior...i've done my research.

i think this car does wonders 'cause i NEVER wanted to drive (yes, i do have a license) and now i WANT to drive...the cooper that is...

cars have always been apart of my family...my brother has a honda s2000, dad drives a benz with a camery, mom has a yellow x-terra, my cousins have a variety of different hondas. now my brother and i are actually going to an auto show...together...ha! imagine that...it brought my brother and i closer together! this is truely a wonder car!

You have been MINI-ized. The infatuation only grows! I've been on a waiting list just to order for 7 months now, and suposely it will be any month now. I find people either love it or don't. For example like everyone on this site, you know facts and figures, whats coming out next, runs and rally, fellowship and just over flow with MINI trivea. The others just don't get it. a great example is my wife. She doesn't see any differance between our Honda and the Cooper. There is a couple we know and she's nutso about the MINI and here husband is like "whats the big deal?". This couple and us were at a BRQ with a good number of people and me and her started talking about this car and we were looked at like we were speaking a different language. Its called MINI-a-neez.

I've found MINI has the power to turn a person into an enthusiast.
It certainly has turned me into one, and I haven't even ordered yet.

I've learned more about this one car in the past few months than any car ever,
I don't ever wash my car much less wax it but am already anticipating
washing my Mini when I get it, and have researched (here of course) which
products are best to use for washing and waxing. And then to add my frost stripes!
Not to mention the fact that I have custom built my mini on miniusa numerous times.
Indi Blue isn't gone yet.....

"I'd like money, for a MINI, please!"
