euro license plate mount

i posted this message on other mini forums but didn't get satisfactory answers (not many euro members)...

i was just wondering how the rear license plate is mounted in europe. i have seen many minis with the european license plates and didn't see any visible screws. i am talking about those that don't have a mounting frame. thanks ...

My plate is mounted with double sided sticky pads. That way the plate is totally flush and has no visible means of support
