Talking South Texas Track Day!

Hello, I am Faron Smith (MINI Motoring Advisor at The MINI Center of San Antonio) and I am here to invite anyone who would like to attend a Track Day at The Texas World Speedway in College Station Texas. Although I work at the MINI Center, they are not a part of this Track Day. This will be a very well planed event, that 30 lucky MINIs will get to attend. I am keeping it at 30 cars, as this is where it is most cost effective. We will have the track for Sunday January 4th, 2004, from 8:30am to 5:30pm. We will have a 1 hour classroom instruction, and SCCA drivers to help those of us that want to learn the best way to attack Texas World Speedway. This is not a day of seeing how bad we can beat our cars, its a day to better learn how to drive so we dont. Terry Sayther Auto will be there to show you the latest in Alta Performance Parts. So will Matt of Cooper Flags to help you get the look you want for your MINI. All you will need is a MINI, helmet, and the desire to drive on a true to life track. So let me say this one last thing!!! If you need to see what you and your MINI can do............Get in touch with me and I will let you know the cost.

So this even is just the one day, right? No hotels needed. Just wanted to make sure because the track events i normally see at TWS are 2-day events. Honestly, i like the idea of one day better.

Yeppers, it is a one day event! I think a few of the San Antonio people are planning to go up and stay in a hotel Saturday night. My wife and I went up for the Ferrari Challenge back in September, and it was fun to stay in the hotel because then we got to the track early. Any more questions please let me know!
