Get an Alarm? Hey All, Getting my MCS soon, should I get an alarm installed on it? What do you guys think? worth it? Anyone have one already? Can you connect the horn to it? what does the the siren sound like. Thanks. |

| As of now, the factory alarm does not fit the 04 MINI. Just another MINI/BMW "duogh opps" thing. It was supposed to be resolved by the end of last month but, in typical fashion its not. So lets hope for December. I would recomend it however just for simplicity and covered under warrenty and you don't have to woory about some dope screwing up the car. | Personally, I would get it fitted if you can. An aftermarket system is at least £250 if you want a CAT 1 approved alarm. If you do end up going for an aftermarket system you may as well go for the full works and get a top end clifford - you know, with engine start, etc... |
