Offline | I've got friends that get off on having a nice car home in the garage with little or no miles put on them year after year. As for me, I don't fret over the Miles per gallon my cars get me. I'm more interested in the smiles per mile they give me. My 1988 Corvette has over 180,000 miles and while it's monitary value is very little, I can say that I never once regreted making that $556.00 monthly pmt for the first 5 years I owned it. Now that I've purchased the MCS in June 2003, the Corvette is taking a rest. As for the MCS, I'm not saving it for anyone. The wife and I put over 800 miles on the MCS in the last three days with a trip to Key West and back. As for the ride, 7 and a half hours with only short stops to take a leak and we were home sitting in the driveway wishing we had the time to head out west. With 6,000 miles on the meter and cruising at 85 -90 for several hours, the MCS performed flawlessly. Don't save it! Use it! ![]() |

| Maxin' and Relaxin' | thats the main reason i havnt ordered my cooper yet as i seem to be doin less and less miles. covered just 2500 miles since april in my current car. i see it as bein a waste of a car as well as a waste of money. dont want to buy a bus pass either so i think the cooper will still be arriving sum time soon. |

Offline | I think Mickey Gem was the winner last time something like this was posted - 1500 miles in 2 years or so. I covered 6000 miles in my MINI - 95% of which were attending MINImeets. ![]() There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all. |

Offline | 1 year - 12,000 miles would be more but I haven't worked in several months, so no commute miles to speak of, I'd estimate of those 12,000 miles 8,000 miles of them are MINI meets/runs/ralleyes |

Offline | 2 weeks short of a year and I just hit 8800.... this is my lowest 1 year mile total ever. Trust not the heart of a man for whom old clothes, and the Mini, are not venerable! |

Offline | 1,000 miles since early Sept. I get my Mini just as I get a new job within walking distance. Now I just interrupt peoples conversations "I'm going to Bath to see..." "DO YOU WANT A LIFT?" |
