Offline | OK, this'll be in US Gallons but here goes. I log every tank and at last check about 3 months ago I had averaged just over 24MPG for the preceding year. Low was about 21.5 during the summer with AC permanently on and a high of 33MPG for a trip. 1 gallon [US, liquid] = 0.8326742 gallon [UK]. I'm too lazy to do the math ![]() |

Offline | On our 04 Works S with 3,224 miles to date we average 25.2 (31.1 high / 20.1 low) On our 03 Cooper CVT with 9,285 miles to date we average 28.6 (32.0 high / 22.8 low) That is in US miles per gallon. Bear (Can't complain about the S. Remember it is over 2 horsepower per cubic inch. Wish I had kind of economy in the 60's....) |

| A Helluva Engineer | Yeah, I have found the trip computer to be a little off. Last tank I put through the car the computer told me I got 26.7 or so. Had just at 300 miles on the tank and put about 12.5 us gallons in the car, so I got more like 24mpg. The computer must have been programmed by the folks at enerons accounting department..... ![]() Atlanta, GA 2004 MCS "Scout"- BRG/W RIP 4/19/2004 ![]() Scout II: Is know motoring with 10k+ miles.... |

Offline | 18 mpg at worst and 22 at best.... but I do a lot of stop and go short trips and the trip home is up hill with lots of curves. <didn't buy it for the gas mileage. Also my right foot is 2 sizes bigger than the left.> ![]() Trust not the heart of a man for whom old clothes, and the Mini, are not venerable! |
