Unhappy Cracked Windsceen

I took my car in for a minor oil change and it came out washed but with a crack on the windscreen in the lower corner on the right. Does any one have any useful advice for me?

The chappie on duty told me he couldn't do anything until I go in to see the Manager next week.

Thanks!

Call the dealer first thing and talk to the Manager, and did you get the name of the "chappie" you first notified? That would be useful when talking to the manager. They are liable though for any damage done - good luck and keep us informed

Problem solved! The dealer has agreed to fix it. I found an earlier thread that shows that these cracks are quite common. Apparently not directing the heating onto the glass helps to prevent them . I'll find out more when I go and get it fixed. Thanks for the advice (which I followed to the letter!).
