In my experience with London dealers are the bigger the dealer, the standard of service gets worse.

Actually I will be buying another MINI from them when my payments on this one are done. The only other service option I have, from what I hear, is even worse. SO what it comes down to is, is the shoddy service dept. worth putting up with inorder to own a MINI? Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, yes IMO I have no choice, I love MINI's too much and there is nothing else even comparable out there.

So I guess overall the good outweighs the bad but its not perfect .. 4 out of 5 stars I guess

There are dealers and MINI uber gruppen fuhrers that monitor the site, so name and shame I say, they will be
sorted or dumped, which can only be good, after all the customer is king, without they are out of business

right , read it, all good, if you have a problem complain and propose a remedy/solution which you did , but did they learn from the experience.
Motto. A man who does not learn from his mistakes is condemned to repeat them for ever.

Keep up the good work, and moderate well Gene.

Victoria Milton Keynes have always been aweful from a sales and service point of view. I've met a few people who've had the same experience.
Elms at Bedford have been good on sales (although BMW sales suck, missed out on an loaded X5 as they were WAY too snooty), but service is not so hot.
Wollaston MINI in Northampton have been very good, even though they struggled to sort my steering issue on my last 'S', they have always been very helpful, and friendly.

I once went in Victoria Milton Keynes, the week before I ordered my MINI from Altwood Tring (who by the way rule). Being 16 they couldn't be bothered with me, said they were closing and I was to leave. If they we're nice and threw in the TLC I may have bought from them so they're stupid.

I've put mine as "worlds worst", but as yet I dont want to name and shame, although if you look hard enough on here there is a thread somewhere where i did !! ....

As i've still got major issues with them i'd like to see them resolved before I say more !

North Oxford Mini Garage....service sucks at best....my Mini has been in 20 times and still they refuse to admit that there are problems with it........saying stuff like we cannot replicate the problem...then I drive it out of the dealership and the problem arises...as if by miracle!
