Offline | At long last I have my very own MINI After 18 months of having to put up with Razor raving about his MINI, but not letting me drive it I took the plunge and bought my own. Had it a few weeks now, but was waiting for some fine weather to give it a good wash and take some pics before announcing it's arrival to the world.Bought it as a ex-demo model, born Jan 03 with 8000 miles on the clock from Lloyd MINI, Carlisle and I'm absolutely delighted with it I know LY is not the most popular colour, but after seeing LY&W on the Heartbeat Run in March, I knew it was the colour for me. I've had the spots & stripes added since I got it, and bar a couple of problems which ListerPark have sorted out under warrenty (creaking passenger seat, spontaneously cracking windscreen - just the standard glitches!), I'm well chuffed Now there's going to be massive rows in the Ruddock household whose car we take on the runs - maybe it will have to be both ![]() |

Offline | £12,995 with £4,500 px for my '97 reg A3 (not great px, but then they never are, are they). It's got Chili pack, air con, cd prep (Santa in the guise of Razor has brought me the cd changer as an early chrissy pres) and as you can see from the pics, xenons and 17" s-spokes which is everything I wanted really, so I was pretty excited when we first saw it on MINI Cherished. It came with silver 17" wheels, but we swapped them for the white set Razor had bought from Stormcrow earlier this year (Thanks Carl ), to complete the look. As a result we have a set of 17' silver wheels open to offers if anyone's interested, but I suppose that should be another thread on another forum. What with the 3 years warranty and TLC pack still complete, I think I made a pretty good saving on new. I tried to knock them down on the price a bit, but they really weren't budging and I was too much of a wuss to walk away from it ![]() |

| cook pass babtridge | people bang on about price & discounts but if you got the car you want at a price you're happy with then thats what matters. sounds like it would have cost around £14,500-£14,750 new so you saved around £1500 & still got the spec you want on a car thats barely run in - result! |

| Very Giggly | I am sooo jealous, we need to be a two mini family. Hopefully when my company car comes up for renewal in May 2006 mini's will be on the list and I'm having an electric blue one with a white roof and white bonnet stripes. Until them I'm stuck with my 206 GTI, which is poo. Anyway, many congratulations and Carl and I look forward to seeing the new addition at the Heartbeat run next year. |
