Hi All,
I'll be getting my mini cooper in ten days. It's cr with a white top. ANy Singaporeans here? I've been reading this forum for weeks now. I am very excited about getting my car. My good friend is getting a cooper too. Hope to get it on the same day. Whats the first mod for most of you out there?
Gimme some tips on wats ur favourite mod.

Hello, welcome to MINI2.

Hope your collection goes well.

Most people with a Cooper seem to go for an intake/cone filter modification, and a cat back exhaust first of all.

Hi and welcome - I had the CR/W, it's not a mod as such but the bonnet stripes just finsih the car off in the looks department so if you've not ordered those then I'd recommend it

Wowee awesome! Our first biggest mod was hubby handing the second key over to me, his lovey wifey, it was both painful and priceless for him

Then follows intake, exhaust, yada yada yada.

Welcome to MINI2 and the world of Motoring. It should be very cool to have a MINI in S'pore. But with all of the red light cameras - be careful. I can't think of any great winding roads to drive on, perhaps out by Lorang or Changi?

Hi all,
Thanx for the warm welcome. It's true that our tiny country won't have much long and windy roads for me to take my Mini to. I do live near changi and loyang.

Cars are really expensive here. We have to pay for the car and also what we call "Coe" Certificate of entitlement. Basically the "COE" give u the rite to put the car on the road.

Cost in US Dollars

Mini - US$40,000
COE - US$13,000 (only valid for ten years, afterwhich u got to start paying again)

Crazy rite?
But you'll still see fancy cars around here.
