Sounds a bit James Cagney "esque" to me zooooom must be from some sort of gangster movie. Not something we Brits with our period costume dramas are overly familiar with. Ah the joys of cross cultural exploration!

I reckon they'd look good on Blue and white, maybe on my Pepper White when it arrives?

Movie Line

The movie is Mel Brooks "Blazing Saddles." BTW: Wierd Al Yankovic's terrible (but funny) film "UHF" includes a parody on the line, substituting badgers for badges.

It's both, actually. If you're really interested, you can find out more here: http://user.mc.net/~dwonder/wlake/wlake.htm

I'm about 60 miles from Chicago, Illinois and 45 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Nice link, very green looking town you live in, like the old black and whites of building the lake.

By the way have you seen Zooooom's badges??

It's originally from an old Bogart flick called "Treasure of the Sierra Madre", and it has been recycled endlessly since then. For a more detailed history (really), check out: www.darryl.com/badges/
