Offline | Cheers guys. Obehave - the Chrome Line is the trim (chrome) around the waist between door panel and window. It runs along the whole waist line of the car. I think it is standard on the Cooper, but for some reason you have to pay extra for it on the S. GMINI - I didn't want to loose any more money and put extra miles on the Cooper over the next few months, so its a hire car and/or a jalopy until the S arrives!!!!! DK - yes hi, my MINI adventures have been few and far between this year mainly due to work. But too much work makes crazy phil a dull boy so I must get out more next year especially as I will have a new toy to play with!!!!!!! Oh, and a ho ho ho, Merry Christmas to you all. |

Offline | KenL -don't know if you can get the chrome boot lid handle on the S, and my dealer told me today that the chrome grill will not be offered until later in the year!!!! The chrome Line is the waist trim that runs along the bottom of all the glass so I believe - anyway it cost me extra!! |

Offline | Think your dealer is wrong about the chrome things. Check Bobnobski's gallery at http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/gallery_7404.html If the dealer are right about MINI charging extra for that trim then that is really poor considering it comes for free on a ONE ![]() Anyway, enjoy your car when it comes, it sounds fantastic. ![]() Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | Although you have to select chrome mirror caps when specifying chrome line the charge is set to zero for the mirror caps as they are included in the £60 chrome line option (as per build your own mini on mini.co.uk and my recent order copy) ![]() |
