Aerial question, please help.

I've got my Cooper, I love my Cooper, but I have trouble getting my Cooper in the garage each night

The aerial is about 2 inches too tall and won't go under the door without bending. It will go in but I'd rather not bend the aerial in case the seal under it is broken.

Does anyone know of a place to get a shorter aerial. I've tried Halfords but they didn't help.

Cheers, Mr C

It may say Lincoln but oi be Oirish.

Try:

www.hirschmann.co.uk

They supply all sorts of aerials, from normal radio, 'phone and GPS aerials. I'm getting a combined 900mhz phone/radio/GPS aerial for my Cooper. The quality of Hirschann aerials is the best. There are some stubby half-masts etc and you mmay be able to buy the mast alone.

Going this route beats bumper aerials and tax disc holder aerials.

Talking

Or you could just buy a house with a taller, more MINI compatible garage

I've got the avonbar aerial, it's about £18 and half the size of the standard aerial.

Out of interest, did you hear about the two aerials that got married? The wedding was rubbish, but the reception was brilliant

Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40
