 AWOL  | I like it !!!.... kinda wish some of the buttons were on the back, but i've never been a big fan of the current wheel so anything else is good (IMO that is !!!)... granted its not everyones cuppa tea... Nice crimbo pressie there Jason.... at last you finally got it ! (i remember those threads where you kept changing your mind !!!!).... enjoy ! |

Offline | S pedals are upstairs but I'm scared to fit them... managed to get a couple hours of free labour from the dealer to put on a few bits. U'll see on the pics in the light tomorrow. Offline | I fitted them myself ,they are quite easy to fit, but the throttle unit can be a bit tricky! If your not confident, get the dealer to fit the throttle, the others you could fit while eating a pizza! As for the UJ roof flag fit, again I fitted it myself with the help of a mate (I used to fit vinyls at work years ago though ). My point is whoever is fitting it, make sure they take the time to fit the centre cross section square on the roof, especially make sure it's central to the rear arial!I have seen a few UJ roofs fitted to MINI's by so-called professionals that just aren't square, and if it's out of centre with the arial, it really shows when finished!  |

Offline | thanks for the advice R1... i'll ask the dealer to fit it when i'm around there. the UJ roof graphic is being fitted by the guy who installs all the graphics for the dealer. he's done about 50 minis so hopefully it will be ok. it's the sunroof one with the perforated holes so lots of bits to put on and line up! j '06' Cooper S Convertible - Astro Black, '04' Mazda RX8 231 - Black |
