Hey guys, good news today i went to Classic MINI garage at Parramatta & ordered my MINI cooper.

Specs :

Solid Black / White roof
17'' inch S - spokes
Bonnet stripes - White
Front fog lights
ASC + T

Im very pleased with my options i chose.

I test drove one of there demo models for about 30 minutes, & it was fantastic........a smile ear to ear........breath taking experince.

Now i have to wait around end of March until it arrives..........worth the wait as i got a great price for the options i chose & it will be made in 2004.

Looks like i wont be taking part in any of the MINI2 drive days until after March.

Hopefully ill see most of you guys next April sometime........looking forward to it.

The easy part is over, now comes the hard part.........the longgggggggg wait.

Congrats Daniel,

That should be a really nice car! But how about ordering a rear spoiler as well? Its not too much more $ and makes the car look really good!

march isn't that long.. i think i had to wait a bit more then 6 months to get my car!!

i bet in the meantime u will manage to find a list of things you will wanna do to ur car! so start saving

and im not gonna stop nagging u to get those clear brake lights!

would clear rear lights look good on an IB MC? Afterall, IB is a darkish colour.

Tom, the normal lights you get are much better, dont worry about getting the clear lights. The clear lights only look good on silver & dark silver MINI's.

I want another test drive.

Does it come with Sport Suspension + or is that an option? If it is an option, did the Mini you drove have it on cause the end result may be different. In saying that, you can always upgrade to different aftermarket suspension anyway and may be cheaper than the Mini upgrade.

Boo, the test drive MINI i drove didnt have SS+, & the one ive got on order hasnt got SS+, im very pleased with how the MINI cooper drove........very pleased.

2 thumbs up.

Im not going to bother about after market suspension, the MINI is great as it is.

Why the 3 months wait whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ? lol lol

CONGRATS MATE, I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO WAIT A LONG TIME 4 A MINI. IN 01 I ORDERED MY CAR IN SEPT & HAD 2 WAIT UNTIL END OF FEB02 TO GET IT (I/B SS+ 16s S/SEATS FOGS ASC W/ROOF). AT LEAST I GOT TO PICK IT UP ON THE FRI BEFORE THE MELB F1 AS THE EMBARGO WAS UNTIL THE SAT FOR 1ST DELIVERIES. I ALSO GOT MY SILLY GRIN DRIVING IT HOME THAT DAY. AS FOR MY NEXT 2 MINIS IT WAS AGONY ALL OVER AGAIN.

It will seem like a long time but it will pass really quickly if you track it in stages. I ordered my S back in September and will hopefully pick it up at the end of January. That time really has flown.

Congrats. I can tell that you are exactly like me and are going to drive everyone around you screaming up the wall before you get it. (I have people stopping me in the street asking me where the boat is now.)

i think its a personal preference... i think they are the perfect thing to get if u have a white roof

That is fair enough

Did you try one with SS+ to see what the difference was? I haven't so i really don't know how it compares.. Just a thought.

Well done.

You have made some great choices. The stripes and wheels will look fantastic. Even better will be the feeling that you will own a car that hardly anyone else has. All of my friends own things like WRXs and 200SXs. It is a satisfying thing that you have one that they dont.

In the end the wait will be worth it to have gotten the car that you truly wanted if you are not is a position where you desperately need the transport. I hope that they did not rape you on your trade in. I am sure that you will be better selling your current drive privately closer to the delivery date. If so good luck.

Dan, i gotta agree that we all will have a car that hardly anyone has on the roads, you see tones of WRX's & Nissans on the road on saturday & friday nights......come on wheres the class gone......in a MINI of course.

I havent traded in my car yet, but they offered a insulting price so i guess ill have to sell it privately when the time comes closer to picking up my MINI.
