Offline | just ordered another MCS for my mum and that will arrive late feb for march 1st collection. it could be that your dealer has had an increase on their allocation or a cancelled order they have kept on order which is still spec changable... if you know what i mean! 1 and a half months is very good though so grab it before someone else does! Offline | Some dealers lie. They get your deposit and then tell you it will take longer. Time of year helps you though, they might have spare allocation early next year. Dealers only get a certain allocation of cars per year, and many run out before the autumn, so wait time varies during the year. |

Offline | Oh, and good luck selling your One. The fact that its chipped won't attract buyers, it'll put them off (most people will go for a One because its far easier to insure than a Cooper). Might be worth reversing the 'chipping' and never mentioning it again. Warranty will also be effected by 'chipping' (BMW don't approve any aftermarket chipping other than by John Cooper Garages) |

Offline | Well I can 100% guarantee you they won't sell it as chipped. And they won't tell anyone that it ever has been, as they are not allowed by BMW to sell cars that have been modofied in this way. As I said, it was just advice, you were trying to sell the car in another thread that you posted just yesterday afternoon. |

Offline | no it won't. i have a private reg on my car and it doesn't make any difference to the waiting time. what you ordered. where did you order from. i think mine was an order i had picked up from a cancelled order which is why it i9s a bit sooner. |

| AWOL | six weeks is very good, I doubt shorter is available due to the time it takes to go onto the scheduling system to be batched with similar spec cars, then theres the building/painting, the the quality?? inspection then the trip to the dealer.... I waited 7 months for mine, granted I didnt shop around though and I have had it about 7 months now.... I must admit though my dealer lied to me, eventually turned up a month late.... but only after I hassled them to death !!!... |
