DEye, me thinks you have me confused with another poster. I am a female - born that way and everything! Also there's only one MINI in my household - my husband drives a large white vehicle.

I didn't mean to Infer anything... I jumped to the conclusiong that you were male and had a Female friend " Mother, sister, etc..." that parked their MINI in your driveway....

The poll results will end up showing the male to female skew of M2 MINI owners but it will be skewed to the male side compared to the actual number of M vs. F owners. Think about it. Men are much more likely to seek out and enjoy a car forum then the average female. Car forums always lean to the male side, because it is generally a male activity to fix, repair, rebuilt and modify cars

GMINI03 has a point. The wife is not very likely to egage in the niceties and banter of "any" car forum. She bought her MINI to drive... not talk about, fix, repair, wash, check oil etc.

And I, too, have to say I think there are more males vs females on this board. Some of us just are more of the addictive types.

GMINI03 is clearly correct - again: Here I am screen switching in front of the computer typing words about our MINI Cooper with you, while my wife again won the actual use of the car for today's commute to/from work. She's driving, and I'm claiming to be the owner in the poll.

But, I always get it for track days.

You'se are most right ( unfortunately ) that the number of females that pusrchased the MINI *may* not be as inclined to seek out other MINI Lovers on line and engage in offbeat banter about My color vs. yours, Oil Changes amd the NEXT mod... to bad 8?(
