I remember seeing it in some mini pics while mine was on order, but mine doesn't have it. Is it an option that i don't have?

Different countries = different spec and packages.

Another example would be air conditioning on all MINI's made to US spec while in the UK you have to pay for it. UK had chili, pepper and salt packages we in the US have premium, sport and cold packages.

The dealers here need to make a profit!! They charge USD $200+ to install it after you puchase it. The US spec can be seen on WWW.Miniusa.com if you are interested. You can price one out with the exception of what the dealer charges for "dealer installed options".
