Me and the wife just picked up our 04 Mini Cooper yesterday.So far we love this vehicle but it only has 150 miles on it.We did not get the Cooper S.After driving both of them for a while we decided that we liked the Cooper better.The one we bought has the sport package and the premium package.She is red and black with red and black interior.She is a blast.Like all the new vehicles they recomend using 5w30 oil.I am just old fashion and like at least 10w40 but I will see how it goes.I use 15/50 Mobil 1 in the rest of my vehicles and they all have over 100000 miles on them.I will be checking the message board and see what info I can find.

If this thing is anything like my Triumph motorcycle I will be really happy.It seems like there are a lot of unhappy people here.I hope I do not end up like them.

Welcome, triumphrider. My Mini S just turned 950 miles today and I still love every minute I spend with her. I have not had one problem in my 3 weeks of ownership. I look forward to many more happy motoring miles.

I know you will enjoy yours. Please post some pics.
