Thumbs up 3500 miles across US-PICS-What a trip!!

We started on Jan 1st. Rode 3500 miles. Mini drives great! No problems at all.As evidenced by the pics we went through a lot of washer fluid and a few feet of snow. We only needed a quart of oil- Mini needed a few car washes-but we finally made it home tonight. I hope you enjoy the pics. It was a great journey through the mountains and the desert, but Mini loves the central coast of cali. Maybe not the earthquakes!!!

Was it a loop back trip or a straight line? Pictures are great! Sounds like a great way to start the year. Any more pics?

Trust not the heart of a man for whom old clothes, and the Mini, are not venerable!

I must confirm that the mini drives perfect at 10,000 ft. I thought it would be a dog up the mountains but it handled quite well.

Great stuff...reminds me of my first (but not the last coast to coast U.S. drive). I went east to west along the southern route in a Jeep wrangler. It was a great drive for a couple in love who had no jobs and no prospects but we turned out ok. Our "covered wagon" west trip...the Jeep was a soft top.

I plan to tour the U.S. greatly in my MINI

Now this is fun:

We have a soft top jeep as well. Feels like riding in a wind tunnel. I prefer a warmer and less windy ride!
