Hi,

Anyone know of any price increases for Mini's and registation fees from this month?

Yep, the MCS had a price increase of about $500 US here in the states

yep isnt it due to registration cost increases active from JAN? but only or order placed from JAN onwards. apparently if u placed orders before then u dont pay. thats what my dealer thought.

hmm the letter I got said that it affects all Jan production cars onward which would be mine

It doesn't matter when car was ordered it is date of 1st registration that counts. Price rise from £25 to about £38 - not massive.

I have not found out exactly what else makes up the other £86 yet.

My dealer told me that I would have to pay, and factored this into the final price I am going to pay when the car arrives. The price went up $450 USD (not sure for the rest of the world), and that isn't bad and it isn't going to put me off on buying my new Mini. Also this increase is only for the Cooper S.

Found out delivery price gone up £87, 1st reg fee £13, spare wheel £5? and Salt Pack £80

I spoke with a local dealer yesterday and was informed that MINI is reimbursing dealers for the $450 price increase on any December production cars, at least here in the states. You might want to inquire.

from what i understand it is based on production date. i was "grandfathered in" and didn't have to pay the upcharge.
